You remember that backstreetboys monday a few weeks ago, when i told you, readers, i was producing a ep under the name of propro, to produce highly remixable material?   Me and Gille worked on some of the tracks together and finally decided to release it under the mighty name of bsbtrgdclub.  the concept was to produce it very quick and then, just release it.  But i got superstuck on the third track, ”a grande finale feliz”, until jillijill helped me finishing it, so it became a bsbtrgdclub ep.  Theses will be very dope, some for the ipods, some other for the clubs.  You can expect us to drop em in sherbrooke on nov 28th.

The ep includes three originals, one propro edit and a bsbtrgdclub remix.  We will release the tracks in low quality (192 kbps) until the ep release party (we still don’t know when, or where).

Waking up slowly after this weekend of demon, like lapalme, the demon of hell.  It all began @ coda on friday for steve aoki. Like you may have heard, lapalme was very drunk, he could not walk straigth and he was yelling nonsense stuff like ‘’steve aoki dj international mondial réputé” and ” i know everything about the ladies fashion i work at urban outfitter, here’s my card”. He also told us he’s the demon of hell.  Saturday, we were going back to coda because homiehomie techjio was djing before nrotb.  This time, we both got super drunk and i dont remember many things, i remember the demon of hell and i drinking beer, and then drinking vodka.  I don’t know when techjio leaved or when we did. Then, sunday morning, i had to wake up early because of this photoshoot with caro, gille’s sister, sexiest’ marjorie, sexiest’ rachel and genevieve, gille’ other sister.  I was wearing mini shorts and i had indians painting in the face.  We’ll give you more info about their project, but sure thing, there is a party at the end and we are djing.

that’s what our homie at welikeit.indie wrote about us as an introduction to the interview we gave em, read it here, it’s plenty of exclusive facts about us, especially about gille, he finally admitted being an t1000 cyborg from the future.

That is true, we are potheads.  Smoking weed a lot as a way to tickle our creativity, we consider weed smoking as quasi-essential to a production session, or djing session with homiehomie’ techjio, or anything related to creation.  Of course, we don’t need weed to produce stuff.  I remember myself working on some tracks or remixes without weed or even cigarettes, but then, i cleaned all the pipes and i smoked resin.  Marijuana is our absolute number one drug.  Even if we’re dj and we often stay up all night, we hate amphetamins, and people on speed, those pills and stuff, we never take it before a show.  Every time i meet somebody new and i tell him/her i’m a dj, they’re like ”oh kk…you must take speed a lot, huh?”. No, we take pizzas.  smoking weed and eating pizza every day as a way to evolve and to progress as artists.

We have some interresting gigs coming up, on november 14th, we are throwing a ”le mothership house party” at some special appartement. This party will be similar to those good old ”dans ton salon”: vodka, weed, girls (and boys) and djsets.  Vodka or something else, strong alchool.

On november 28, we are finally playing outside of montreal, we will play in some bizarre place, i think its a school or i don’t know in sherbrooke with Nrotb and Femme.  It’s a pop! pop! clothing event, so, no need to say that we are very insecure about it, plus it’s called bal en noir, scary.  We are supposed to receive those tshirts we were supposed to receive way before the party @ zoobizarre, but then we were supposed to receive em just in time for the party,  but then we were supposed to receive em via purolator, but then we will maybe receive em on nov 28th.  This whole t-shirts thing is not very important, this will be a great gig, we never played with Nrotb and we never traveled because of the music. Traveling, even if it’s only to go to Sherbrooke is exciting, are those sherbrooke kids cool? We can’t take a cab and go home, we’ll have to sleep somewhere and stuff.  Are those sherbrooke pizzas good?

This week, readers, we are releasing joint relief, this highly anticipated track. Already played in some las vegas clubs, joint relief is the result of a collaboration with l’incredibile’ teen wolf. Trying to create something rap, we totally failed. Our project was to produce one smooth track, something for those ipod and not for the club. Using teen wolf’ awesome vocals and hip hop synth, but it ended up in some club banger again.

Last saturday @ zoobizarre was sick yo! we did packed the zoo again, mofomatronix did a great set, everybody was warmed up for techjio’s, which was great.  we started our performance with this track i posted in super hi qual last week and i had to remove it, edu k feat madame mim - head banger. This track is awesome. The vocals and the bass and everything, in fact, we talked with k boy, we can remix it. He sent us the separated vocals, synth/bass, FXs, and all the files are crazy. Edu k will also remix shu bawng = an honor for us.  I remember the first track we dropped because we have all the video of the night, Lapalme was filming with laurence’s camera and a little flashlight (some pocket-camping-flashlight, the vids looks like we’re in the blair project), but the sound is very good with her cam, so we’ll have some good youtubes soon.

As you can see on the pic, we received free stuff from 33mag for theses le mothership gig, ultra-huge thanks to Julien, 33mag will be supporting us by putting up our dates on the website and on the mailing list and stuff.  As you can also see on the pic, there was this girl with a bsbtrgdclub shirt! don’t you all think it’s cool?

The party ended up at some after on street ”i never heard of” in Villeray with homieboy funky falz, tony the tiger, Archibald sigleton and a lot of other artist.  But gille could not make it to the place, i don’t know, i jumped into this cab, he was supposed to take another cab, Lapalme too, they all missed some good night. I came back home at 9 in the morning, i saw techjio and le chat, they were working at 7, lol.
