Back in 2000′ because i thought school was for retarded so i skipped.  but i have my diploma and stuff, of course, school is very important, kids.

When you do live performance, do you prepare yourself in some way?

I just sleep/smoke weed a lot before the show, i dont really prepare myself

Smoking joints and drinking coffee.  I’m with Lapalme, young boy, he just got the job at the urban outfitter for girl on st-denis.  I’m slowly waking up, i know it’s 5 pm but yesterday i watched kung fu movies with gille until something like 5 or 6.  Jet li is good but i really prefer jackie chan.

Last friday, we were @ pilon house to see his appart, see if the cops come and if there is enought space and stuff, everything is perfect. we will be throwing several gigs in his place, starting in november, something like november 15 or 22. It was cool, Lapalme was totally drunk and he don’t remember a thing, like, im not sure if he remember us poppin the champagne listening to lil wayne’s poppin’ championship bottle.  Violnce was there with us, they did a little performance, i think lapalme remember this.  I bet you don’t even know who is violnce, but its part of their concept i think.  They are two producer/live performer coming from as far as us, they produce an ghetto/electro/rap that will be poppin in the myspaces and virbs and stuff soon.  a few hours before the party, we recorded one dope mix, i was throwing vocals and they were doing the beats with their electribe.  We can’t zshare the mix because they don’t want it out, part of the concept or i don’t know, lol

We are working on some other dope originals productions, one with las vegas’ fabulous teen wolf doing the vocals, he did crazy vocals, he even recorded him smoking weed, like in the good rap song, in the begining you have them rappers smoking weed and then the dj drop the beat.  The whole thing will be on the internets very soon with a remix from majestic techjio.  Working with rappers (or vocalist or whatever) is great, we are looking for a girl to work with us one some prods, like some ep or something.

This week we release this remix we quickly did for aerotronic, we did it quick because of the samples they sent us, they we just perfect to work with. It have one electro flavor we dont usually have, we’re scared of this word (the ”e” word), but for this one i can honestly say it sounds electro.

J’ai eu une vision. Le genre de vision qui pourrait changer tout un monde. Et cette vision, c’était l’image d’un univers, un univers où tout coexistait parfaitement. Un univers où les rockers n’aurait plus avoir peur du monde extérieur. Un univers dans lequel ils ne fuieraient pas comme des petits écureuils qui craignent qu’on leur fasse du mal lorsqu’on leur présente des noisettes.

J’ai alors compris quelle était ma mission. Puisqu’ils sont trop appeurés pour venir à nous, j’irai moi-même à eux. J’ai donc enfilé un jeans sale, un chandail frippé puis dissimulé un bandeau de rocker dans la poche de mon hoodie et chaussé mes snicks. L’aventure m’attendait.

J’ai donc descendu les 42 marches de mon building, plein de courage et parti à la recherche des rockers, arpentant les milles et unes rues de Montréal. Les heures tournaient, je désespérais jusqu’à ce que j’emprunte cette petite rue faite de briques et que j’ aperçois finalement ce qui me semblait un lieu de rendez-vous, ou pour les freshs, un spot où qu’on peut chiller. J’ai donc commencé par attacher mon bandeau autour de ma tête, puis je m’approchai d’eux l’air innocent, les regardant droit dans les yeux tout en faisant bien attention de ne pas les provoquer.

Sans difficulté, je me suis alors infiltré, et compris d’après le tableau d’affiche qu’un groupe se produirait ce soir-là, à cet endroit. J’entrai dans la salle, pris une bière, puis un siège. Des rockers d’est en ouest, des quatres coins du globe étaient au rendez-vous.

Le groupe Shake it Corrida, commença alors son spectacle et toute la foule se mit dancer, crier, chanter, suer et certains ont même pleurer, incluant moi-même. J’ai alors senti que je devais faire connaître au monde entier ce fascinant quatuor. Je leurs ai donc demandé de m’écrire quelques mots qui les décriraient, et qui montreraient qu’eux aussi, doivent êtres entendus.

” Formée il ya un an de cela, la formation Shake it Corrida opère comme la maffia russe dans la scène musicale émergeante! Les têtes tombent sur le passage d’amplificateur débraillés et de guitares désaccordées. Les quatres lascars, venant tous de la région de Trois-Rivières nourrissent leur âme avec un rock’n roll teinté d’un romantisme et d’une énergie contagieuse. Tout récemment ils ont quitté le 819 pour s’établir à Montréal. La semaine passé, ils ont eu leur baptème de la scène Montréalaise en faisant trembler les murs du Petit Campus et les 20 personnes (incluant le staff) qui y étaient. Ils sont maintenant près a entrer dans le placenta de la scène Montréalaise en se donnant a fond pour la seule chose qui les tienne en vie : la musique. Shake it Corrida c’est la fougue du rock garage avec le chic de la pop; la cravate sous le manteau de cuir. ”

i didn’t understand what happened yesterday, where those peoples were from?  The brand new Theatre Telus was packed.  Filled with boys noize fans crying and yelling everytimes he drop some of his already super-old productions.  I really thought boys noize was over.  We listened to the cd, loved it, kinda got bored of if, then we hated it, but now there is this thousand of people discovering boys noize, buying the cd and stuff, after everybody.  Who are theses people?  I don’t want to speak against a-trak because i like him, he’s from montreal, he’s rich, he produce this guy kanye west, he’s producing and remixing a lot, and not always with the same style, that makes him friendly.  So lets focus on boys noize’s carreer.  A while ago, we were talking with those pilous guys about a remix of one of their track, they were in, but they had to ask boys noize and he finally said no, no remixes, no shits.  I think about it every times i see him.  Right now, i’m smoking joints with gille watching Mel Gibson’s we were soldiers.  Mel gibson is wearing this war-hat with some kind of straps in the face, around his chin or something, like a military boy.  LOL

oh la la, ce que j’ai vue hier ou plutôt ce que je n’est pas vu au saphir ma beaucoup déçu. En effet, le public montrealais semble prendre ces distances de la scène électro. Je ne sais pas comment c’est passé la soirée de nos amis du 33mag au House avec Lazaro Casanova, mais le Beat me up avec Dj barletta m’a démontré que j’avais dangeureusement raison et qu’il y a un problème avec la scène, quoi que le set à barletta est déchiré la foule quant à elle, semblais ne pas savoir quoi faire ou ce demandais tout simplement ce qu’elle fesait là. Peut-être que c’est une surdose de show et d’artiste, une non compréhension du mouvement ou encore un virus mortel venu du nil, mais bref nous devons nous unir nous, toi, lui, elle, tout le monde, qui à un lien et qui peut faire la différence ! Bon trève de communiste électronique et passont au chose sérieuse. C’est ce samedis que le groupe plus grand que nature Le Matos va déchirer la sono du piknik !! damn fuck, si vous n’étiez pas la au petit campus vous ne devez pas manquer cette prestation live du tonnerre qui je crois va redonner un souffle de vie à ce qui reste de la scène dans la métropole. Finalement, il parrait que le 25 octobre au Zoobizarre le mothership 2e édition aura lieu avec BEAUCOUP de surprise, donc prévoyer toute suite votre congé le 26 parce que vous ne pourrez pas vous s’y rendre en vie.
